"In today's business environment, the delivery, access and management of critical business information are key to an organization's ability to remain competitive in the new marketplace," said Michael Szot, solutions product manager, TABS. "The InfinityDesk software offering provides organizations a simplified, affordable and comprehensive suite of integrated features to maximize workgroup collaboration, information distribution and management. By leveraging the power and functionality of Toshiba's e-STUDIO MFPs, organizations can access InfinityDesk's feature-rich collaboration tools with minimal additional costs, eliminate the need for multiple software implementations and increase business workflow, productivity and overall bottom line."
InfinityDesk Cabinet - Electronic Document Repository
InfinityDesk seamlessly integrates with Toshiba's e-STUDIO MFPs and becomes a powerful synergistic tool for information distribution and workgroup collaboration when combined with Toshiba's e-STUDIO scan-to-file and scan-to-e-mail functions. Users can scan paper documents directly into an InfinityDesk Cabinet folder, or electronic document repository, with access by group members from anywhere in the world via the Internet. The InfinityDesk Cabinet folder also can store electronic files.
With a flexible structure, the Cabinet function enables users to create as many folders as needed, add notes to a document and grant access rights to other group members, either by folder or document. Within the Cabinet function, workgroups also can access and apply additional integrated collaboration features offered through the InfinityDesk suite. For example, users can retrieve documents stored in a Cabinet folder, such as a scanned invoice or receipt, and attach them to an electronic approval form and route it through the approval chain.
Robust Security and Administration Features
InfinityDesk offers comprehensive, robust and flexible security and administration features, making it an easy-to-use solution to implement.
In addition, in a business world plagued with diminishing IT budgets and an increased focus on cost-effective business solutions, InfinityDesk offers minimal system and implementation requirements. Once installed on the server, InfinityDesk can be administered by non-IT personnel, which reduces expenses.
Designed to operate in a Windows environment, InfinityDesk also integrates with existing e-mail systems and is compatible with Personal Data Assistants (PDAs).
