TOSHIBA AMERICA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS, INC. INTRODUCES ITS LATEST MULTIFUNCTION OFFERING - THE E-STUDIO™200L
Newest Member of the e-STUDIO230/280 Series Made More Affordable For Small Workgroups
IRVINE , California ( Oct 22, 2004 ) :
Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. (TABS) today introduced the e-STUDIO™200L as the latest addition to the recently introduced e-STUDIO230/280 MFP series. The affordable e-STUDIO200L features copy, print, scan and fax functionality for small and mid-sized workgroups with a 20 page-per-minute print speed.
Unlike the e-STUDIO230 and 280, the e-STUDIO200L offers automatic duplexing and network interfacing as optional features, resulting in a lower price point for small workgroups that do not need duplexing capabilities or network connectivity. The e-STUDIO200L also features a 100 percent recycled toner system, eliminating the need for a toner waste container and making the device easier to use, more reliable and environment-friendly.
"The addition of the e-STUDIO200L to our MFP line-up offers our small workgroups customers a full-function MFP with high image quality at an affordable price," said Steve Rhorer, director, Product Marketing for TABS. "The e-STUDIO200L also may be configured with flexible options to meet their specific business needs."
Advanced Ease of Use
As with the e-STUDIO230 and 280 MFPs, the half-size VGA control panel on the e-STUDIO200L is twice the size of currently available standard control panels and is even easier to use. Features that include large one-touch buttons, oversized graphic icons and a 45-degree tilting capability, increase the ease of use for physically challenged individuals. The control panel also offers enhanced visibility in various light environments that may make it more difficult to read a conventional LCD screen.
Complete Electronic Document Management
The e-STUDIO200L offers robust network scanning capabilities, scanning up to 60 original documents per minute (OPM) at user selectable resolutions of 200 or 400 dpi and 45 OPM (600 dpi). Additionally, the scanning feature can easily be integrated into an organization’s workflow when coupled with a document management software solution for complete digitization of all hard copy documents for easy storage and retrieval capabilities. The e-STUDIO200L’s robust scanning capabilities include scanning to multiple locations such as scan-to-file, scan-to-email, scan-to-e-filing and TWAIN-compliant scanning.
The e-STUDIO200L comes standard with one 550-sheet paper cassette. Additional finishing options include single position stapling finisher and a multiple position stapling saddle-stitch finisher (with a hole punch option). Maximum monthly duty cycle for the e-STUDIO200L is 64,000 pages.
The e-STUDIO200L is available through Toshiba’s nationwide network of dealers for the suggested list price of $3,895 (USD).
