Multifunction Fax Solution Offers Maximum Convenience For Small and Mid-Sized Office Environments

Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. (TABS) today introduced the Toshiba e-STUDIO™170F, the latest addition to the company's digital laser fax line. A multifunction, plain paper fax unit featuring standard PC printing, PC scanning and optional PC faxing, it is ideal for small to medium sized workgroups and small offices. Producing a quick three-second-page transmission speed and a print speed of 17 pages-per-minute (PPM) with a small footprint, the e-STUDIO170F is as fast as it is compact.

The e-STUDIO170F features a Super G3, 33.6 Kbps modem and 7 MB of memory, and offers timesaving dialing features including 38 programmable one-touch keys, automatic redial and 188-location auto-dialer.

Standard Multifunction Features

Toshiba's e-STUDIO170F offers a host of standard multifunction features such as 600 dpi Windows printing, convenience copying and scanning. Equipped to handle letter or legal size paper via its built-in 250-sheet cassette, the e-STUDIO170F comes standard with easy to use Toshiba Viewer software that allows for PC TWAIN scanning and device setup. The new e-STUDIO170F ships with a free 1,600-page yield starter toner cartridge that can be replaced with a 6,000-yield cartridge, and features a separate drum and toner component system to ensure full drum life is achieved.

The e-STUDIO170F is available through Toshiba's nationwide network of dealers for the suggested list price of $ 1,499 (USD).
