TOSHIBA AMERICA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS, INC. REVITALIZING PRINTER LINE-UP WITH INTRODUCTION OF THE E-STUDIO™320P FOR MID-SIZED WORKGROUPS
Fast, Affordable and Network-Ready Printer Offers Superior Image Quality
IRVINE , California ( Feb 28, 2005 ) :
With a focus on continually improving its printer product offerings, Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. (TABS) today introduced the newest addition to its laser printer line, e-STUDIO™320P. Designed for medium sized workgroups and personal users with low to mid-volume printing requirements, the e-STUDIO320P replaces the e-STUDIO220P, offering distinct improvements in speed, memory and network connectivity.
The e-STUDIO320P features a robust 366 MHz processor, resulting in a brisk print speed of up to 32 pages-per-minute (PPM) and a quick first-print-out-time of just eight seconds. Superior image quality is achieved with 2400 dpi Image Quality and true 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution for sharp, professional documents. Standard integrated duplexing also is featured, offering a true cost savings for users requiring double sided printing.
"Toshiba is continually driven to provide our customers with reliable, high quality products that increase productivity at an affordable cost," said Mark Mathews, vice president, Marketing, TABS. "The e-STUDIO320P provides all the printing capabilities customers need, and is well-served as a complementary device for mid-sized workgroups by off-setting the printing workloads typically placed on multi-function machines."
Flexible Network Connectivity and Superior Printer Power
Shipped standard with PostScript™ Level 3 and PCL 6 emulations, the e-STUDIO320P also supports a large variety of operating systems, ensuring it can handle almost any job. The e-STUDIO320P features 64 MB of RAM and can accept an additional 256 MB for a total potential 320 MB Max RAM. In addition, a standard 10/100BaseT connection is included, as is a bi-directional parallel port and USB 2.0 port. An optional external 802.11g wireless network adapter also is available for mobile connectivity.
Superior Paper Handling For Optimum Productivity
With an ultra-slim profile, the e-STUDIO320P can handle both letter and legal-size paper, and boasts an impressive monthly duty cycle of up to 65,000 PPM. The e-STUDIO320P comes standard with a 250-sheet cassette and 100-sheet bypass, with optional paper supply items including a 250-sheet drawer and a 500-sheet drawer, increasing efficiency and convenience and bringing input capacity up to 1,100 sheets.
The e-STUDIO320P ships standard with a 6,000-page yield starter cartridge, with a 12,000 yield replacement cartridge available in either a disposable Regular type or lower cost Use-and-Return (UAR) type.
The e-STUDIO320P is available through Toshiba's nationwide network of dealers for the suggested list price of $849 (USD), and is backed by TABS' Total Quality Commitment (TQC).
