Toshiba America Business Solutions (TABS) today introduced the e-STUDIO™270P, the newest offering from Toshiba's digital laser printer line. Designed for personal users and small workgroups with low to mid-volume printing requirements, the e-STUDIO270P delivers quick black and white print speeds of up to 27 pages-per-minute (PPM) with a fast first-print-out-time of just eight seconds. Featuring an ultra-compact footprint, the e-STUDIO270P provides high quality document production and a variety of user options that make it one of the most versatile printing solutions available in the workgroup printer class.

Powerful Printer With High-Quality Document Output

Built with a powerful 200MHz processor for fast document output capabilities, the e-STUDIO270P also features 32 MB of RAM and can accept up to 160MB. Delivered standard with PostScript™ Level 3 and PCL 6 emulations, the e-STUDIO270P also offers the capacity to support a variety of operating systems, assuring its compatibility in almost any environment. Superior document imaging is achieved with 2400 dpi image quality and a true 1200 x 1200 dpi print resolution for sharp, professional documents.

Exceptional Productivity and Paper Handling

Featuring a monthly duty cycle of up to 15,000 PPM, the e-STUDIO270P comes standard with a 250-sheet paper capacity and single sheet bypass that offer users the option of letter, legal and envelope printing. An optional 550-sheet drawer also is available. The e-STUDIO270P ships with a 1,500-page yield starter cartridge, with a 6,000 yield replacement cartridge available to reduce the need for continuous supply replenishment. With a drum yield of 30,000 pages, the printer also features dual component supplies designed to separate the drum and toner process units ensuring full yield is achieved.

Custom Tailoring for Optimum Performance

The e-STUDIO270P offers several options that allow users to tailor the printer to suit their own particular needs. Shipped with a standard bi-directional parallel port and USB 2.0 connection, the e-STUDIO270P also offers a convenient external 10/100BaseT network connectivity option, making it an ideal printer for both individual users requiring a dedicated printing solution and small workgroups. In addition, SDRAM memory upgrades also are available for faster spooling.

The e-STUDIO270P is available through Toshiba's nationwide network of dealers for the suggested list price of $399 (USD), and is backed by TABS' Total Quality Commitment (TQC).
