TOSHIBA AMERICA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS INC. LAUNCHES NEW WORKGROUP DIGITAL LASER PRINTER
e-STUDIO300P Offers Exceptional Value and Performance in a Compact Package
IRVINE , California ( Jan 31, 2006 ) :
Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. (TABS) today announced the latest addition to its workgroup digital laser printer line, the monochrome e-STUDIO™300P. As a replacement to the e-STUDIO270P, the e-STUDIO300P offers a faster print speed and processor, as well as outstanding productivity. With one of the smallest footprints in its class, the e-STUDIO300P is an affordable solution that makes no sacrifices when it comes to performance.
“The e-STUDIO300P is designed to support the printing needs of busy executives and individuals that require their own output device, or small workgroups with low volume printing needs,” said Kay Fernandez, director, Product and Solutions Marketing for TABS. “The combination of its power, speed, image quality and flexible connectivity options provide for a reliable printing solution at an economical price.”
High Performance for Any Job
Powered by a robust 366 MHz processor, the e-STUDIO300P printer breezes through documents with an impressive output of 30 pages per minute (PPM) and a first-print-out-time of only 7.5 seconds. The printer offers superior 2400 dpi image quality and true 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution for professional looking documents. The e-STUDIO300P also comes standard with 32 MB of RAM and can accept up to 160 MB. This, combined with the large variety of operating systems supported, ensures that the device can handle almost any job.
Small on Size, Big on Productivity
Featuring one of the smallest footprints in the workgroup printer class, the e-STUDIO300P’s ultra-compact package makes it ideal for executives or individuals requiring a dedicated printing solution. For sharing among small workgroups, an external print server can be added to the e-STUDIO300P.
Despite the system’s small size, Toshiba has kept productivity a top priority with a monthly duty cycle of up to 15,000 pages. Additionally, the device comes standard with PostScript™ Level 3 and PCL 6® emulations, streamlining the graphics and font commands to reduce the amount of information that has to be sent to the printer.
Excellent Paper Handling Features
The e-STUDIO300P can handle letter and legal-size paper via its built-in 250-sheet cassette. The e-STUDIO300P ships standard with a 1,500-page yield starter cartridge, with 6,000 yield cartridges available when a replacement is needed. In addition, the e-STUDIO300P features dual component supplies, which separate the drum and toner process units to ensure the full drum yield of 30,000 pages is achieved.
Connectivity in Any Environment
With a standard parallel port and standard USB port, the e-STUDIO300P is well equipped for connectivity in any environment. In addition, users have the option of an external 10/100BaseT Adapter for greater flexibility. The e-STUDIO300P serves as an excellent complement to Toshiba’s copy systems, and can help offset printing chores in today’s busy, connected offices.
The e-STUDIO300P is now available through Toshiba’s nationwide network of dealers for a suggested list price of $399.
