Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. (TABS) today launched the e-STUDIO™205CP full color printer. This 20 page-per-minute (PPM) device functions as a highly cost-effective business color printing solution and offers mid-sized workgroups standard network printing in a compact package.
“The e-STUDIO205CP is a low cost color printing solution that allows corporations to quickly and affordably produce professional quality documents such as charts, graphs, sales presentations, marketing collateral and internal communication tools,” said Kay Fernandez, director of Product and Solutions Marketing for TABS. “With the introduction of the e-STUDIO205CP, TABS continues to expand its growth into new market arenas and reinforce its commitment to a total solutions offering strategy.”
High Performance and Productivity
Driven by a fast 500 MHz processor, the e-STUDIO205CP generates 20-PPM color output and a first page out time of just 13 seconds. This results in increased productivity and efficiency due to less time spent waiting for print jobs. In addition, the 1,200 x 1,200 dpi print engine features a duty cycle of up to 65,000 pages per month for further productivity.
The e-STUDIO205CP also boasts enhanced 4,800 dpi image quality with automatic color correction, which produces clean, sharp text with solid, bright colors.
Flexible Connectivity
To meet the growing demand for connectivity in the business environment, the e-STUDIO205CP comes standard with 10/100BaseT Ethernet and a USB 2.0 connection. For mobile office users, an 802.11g wireless option also is available. Additionally, the e-STUDIO205CP features standard PostScript™ 3 and PCL 6® emulations.
Effective Paper Handling
The e-STUDIO205CP offers users the ability to print on media up to 90-pound index. Supported media types include plain paper, transparencies, paper labels, envelopes and card stock. The e-STUDIO205CP can handle up to legal size paper through a standard 250-sheet drawer or optional 500-sheet drawer. With the standard 100-sheet bypass, the printer features a total input capacity of up to 850 sheets. Moreover, the e-STUDIO205CP includes standard duplex capability offering a true cost savings for users requiring double sided printing.
Long Life Consumables
The e-STUDIO205CP ships standard with 1,500 yield cartridges (C,M,Y,K) and also offers long toner life with 8,000 page black and 5,000 page color toner yields, which means users don’t have to worry about constantly replacing supplies. In addition, to help lower the cost of operation and get the most from toner supplies, the e-STUDIO205CP includes a Color Saver feature that reduces the amount of toner required to print.
Toshiba also has made maintenance and operation of the e-STUDIO205CP completely hassle free. It features easy front-loading cartridges that any office user could change, thus reducing downtime and increasing office productivity.
