TOSHIBA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS COMPLETES TWO DEALER ACQUISITIONS IN KEY DALLAS MARKET
Latest Dealer Acquisitions Gives Toshiba 13 Offices in State of Texas

Continuing its drive to expand into new strategic markets, Toshiba Business Solutions (TBS) today announced the acquisition of two leading Dallas-headquartered dealerships – Best Image Systems (BIS) and Digital Solutions Inc. (DSI). The two companies will be combined with Toshiba Business Solutions Texas/New Mexico’s (TBS-TX/NM) existing business, further growing TBS’ nationwide network of wholly owned subsidiary operations. These acquisitions are the third and fourth Texas-based dealer acquisitions in the past 12 months for TBS-TX/NM (Office Communications Systems Inc.), which was acquired in March 2003.

Well known for providing exceptional customer service, each dealership is headquartered in Dallas, with DSI having an additional facility in Fort Worth, Texas and BIS offering a location in Denison, Texas, all of which will remain open and operational. Former BIS and DSI owner and Chief Executive Officer Peter Rivera will be retiring upon completion of the acquisition. His son, former co-owner and President David Rivera, will remain with the company, serving as general manager of the Dallas/Forth Worth market for TBS-TX/NM.
