IRVINE , California   ( Nov 13, 2007 ) :

Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. (TABS) is proud to announce that its partnership with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim this baseball season has benefited five Orange County schools with a total of 12 printers in the “Triples for Kids” program.  For every triple hit by an Angels player in a home game, TABS donated a Toshiba printer to an Orange County school.  The Angels finished the season at the top of the American League West with a total of 12 triples at Angel Stadium of Anaheim, which resulted in new Toshiba printers being presented to the following five schools:

  • Dwight D. Eisenhower Elementary School – Garden Grove, Calif.
  • Hoover Elementary School – Santa Ana, Calif.
  • Olive Elementary School – Orange, Calif.
  • Paul Revere Elementary School – Anaheim, Calif.
  • Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School – Anaheim, Calif.

“Our culture at TABS heavily integrates community support, so it is extremely rewarding to merge our award-winning products with our company’s philanthropic efforts to promote education and sportsmanship with Angels Baseball,” said Rick Taylor, president
and chief executive officer, TABS.  “Toshiba printers are some of the most reliable in the market and we are very pleased for the opportunity to contribute to the improvement of schools’ administrative and teaching environments, which ultimately will benefit the overall quality of student education.”

The beneficiaries were selected by Angels Baseball from the many area schools supported by the ballclub as part of its Angels Baseball Foundation Adopt-A-School Program.
