New Space-Saving, Fully-Featured MFP Delivers Enterprise Features to Small- to Mid-Sized Office Business Environments

Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. (TABS) today announced the launch of the e-STUDIO™202S/203S/203SD multifunction product (MFP) series, a compact fully-featured copy/scan/print device for today’s small business markets. Toshiba’s e-STUDIO202S/203S/203SD includes robust features and paper handling options of a full-sized monochrome MFP in an affordable price point, capable of producing crisp, sharp documents at business speeds, and ideal for quick and nimble small workgroups.

The e-STUDIO202S/203S/203SD series is a USB-connected MFP that can be set-up and configured in minutes and features a first copy output speed of 8 seconds flat, and can sustain crisp, clean copies at 20 copies-per-minute (CPM). Designed for small workgroups, the Toshiba e-STUDIO202S prints office documents at 15 pages-per-minute (PPM), while the e-STUDIO203S/203SD series offers faster speeds of 20 ppm. The line of small office MFP’s features a 250-sheet cassette and a 50-sheet bypass standard, keeping an active office’s document workflow at an efficient speed. And for heavier document output needs, the additional 250-sheet cassette can double the series’ paper capacity. For companies that need two-sided printing, the e-STUDIO203SD offers duplexing as a standard feature.
The e-STUDIO202S/203S/203SD scans in full color at resolutions of 600x600 dots-per-inch (dpi) and can scan and copy large documents, proposals and presentations with ease with the optional 50-sheet automatic document feeder or reverse automatic document feeder. The included Desktop Document manager allows end-users to scan documents from the e-STUDIO202S/203S/203SD directly to their local workstation in a variety of popular editable office formats, such as Microsoft™ Word and Excel via the integrated Optical Character Recognition (OCR) solution. The e-STUDIO203S/203SD also offers the Network Expansion Print/Scan Kit and Fax Kit for companies with an existing wired network, or that require a faxing component.
