TOSHIBA RECEIVES FOURTH CONSECUTIVE CHANNEL'S CHOICE SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE AWARD
Office Technology Dealers Vote Toshiba the Partner of Choice, as Well as the Best Provider for Corporate Support, Distribution, and Inventory
IRVINE , CA ( Mar 23, 2010 ) :
Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. (TABS), today proudly announced that it has been awarded the Business Technology Association's (BTA) 2010 Channel's Choice Superior Performance Award as a Primary Product Line Provider. The organization's highest honor, this award indicates that Toshiba is, above all others, the partner of choice for independent dealers for the fourth straight year. The award is based on completed surveys by 243 office technology dealers from across the country. Toshiba was also honored to receive Channel's Choice Awards in three of four key performance categories: Corporate Support, Distribution, and Inventory. The awards were presented at the Information Technology Education and Exposition (ITEX) 2010 on March 3 in Las Vegas.
"Above all else, we are extremely proud of the consistency with which we have received these prestigious accolades," said Mark Mathews, president and chief operating officer (COO), TABS. "While we've proudly earned this award 11 times, there's added significance in the recognition our independent dealers are giving us during some of the most challenging economic times our industry has faced. The Toshiba team truly comes to work everyday thinking of new programs, products and processes to help our dealer partners succeed, so it is especially rewarding to be acknowledged for those efforts with this award program."
The BTA Channel's Choice Awards are based on feedback from independent office technology dealers representing all copier/multi-function product (MFP) vendors in the industry, and all regions of the country. Almost 250 dealers participated in this year's survey and were asked to rank their primary and secondary vendors in four key performance categories - Corporate Support, Distribution, Product Line, and Inventory. This year, Toshiba almost swept the awards, taking home the top honor, as well as three of the four key performance category awards.
"The Channel's Choice Award program provides dealers with a means of recognizing and honoring those vendors that are the most supportive of their business and the BTA channel as a whole," said Brent Hoskins, executive director, BTA, and editor, Office Technology magazine. "It's clear, year after year, that Toshiba is delivering on its promise - commitment to the success of the dealer through products, support and services. Congratulations once again to Toshiba for going above and beyond in support of BTA dealers."
