Sales Manager

This position will lead a sales team of up to six reps and provide hands-on management within a targeted geography. Direct sales programs that support the marketing plan to promote new markets, improve competitive position in area, and provide fast and efficient sales-directed service to the customer. Ensure ever-increasing sales that meet or exceed forecasted expectations in both revenue and profit projections. Provide operational personnel with forecasting that enables them to plan for and create the capabilities necessary to meet the requirements of business expansion.

Train new account executives in the organization's policies and practices as well as standard sales methodology used. Participate in select sales calls with account executive; confer with potential customer to ascertain the right solution for the customer's need in terms of equipment, supplies, and service. Participate in sales management team planning, evaluation, and team building to support the organization's growth as a customer-centric business. The Sales Manager will continually be working to actively attract, hire, train, develop, motivate and manage members of an assigned team.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

This position requires an Associate's degree and three to five years' experience in sales/sales management; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate will possess proven planning and strategic development skills. As well as proficient MS Office suit knowledge; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
