Bill Melo
Vice President, Marketing, Services and Solutions, Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc.
With the company since 2002, Bill Melo currently serves as vice president, Marketing, Services and Solutions for Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. (TABS). In this capacity, Melo oversees product marketing, managed and professional services, marketing communications, training, and service support and operations. Prior to serving in his current role, Melo was director, Managed Services for TABS, where he managed the development and delivery of Toshiba’s Encompass Managed Print Services program, the industry’s leading document management and output optimization services. In developing Toshiba’s Encompass Online assessment platform, Melo leveraged his extensive experience developing Web-based applications for the document imaging industry. |
During his 22 years in the industry, Melo has managed the implementation of solutions at commercial, government and educational organizations throughout the United States. Melo’s prior employment experience includes; vice president, Worldwide Marketing for Hitachi Koki Imaging Solutions; and national program manager for Ricoh Corporation. Melo also was the lead inventor on a U.S. patent for Internet-enabled broadcast printing in 2002, and is the lead inventor on two other applications, one in the field of Internet-based monitoring systems for printers and copiers, and the other for Toshiba’s Encompass Online application. Melo is a graduate of Toshiba’s Six Sigma certification program and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Montclair State College in New Jersey and a Master of Business Administration degree from New York University. |
